one of the things I love about my kids is how when one of them is struggling a bit the others will jump in to help or cheer up whatever..  Cierra has had a very loose tooth for quite sometime.. she has on and off tried to pull it out always sort of giving up.. well last night she said she wanted to try she was going to pull it out.. so we tied some dental floss to the tooth and then she couldnt do it.. got all upset and crying and was scared and just didnt want to do it.. said she was tired, just wanted to go to sleep .. etc.. so my husband and I told her.. she would have to let us either cut the dental floss off her tooth or pull it because she could not go to sleep with dental floss hanging out of her mouth.. she couldnt decide there were many tears.. her brothers came in.. and were trying to help, offering suggestions trying to make her laugh.. trying to talk her into pulling it herself or offering to do it for her.. coming up with silly ideas of ways to pull it out etc.. just surrounded her with love.. got her laughing and calmed down.. and just cheered her on.. they left her be and she was feeling less sobby.. and was not crying as much they went to bring wood in the house Miles came running in and jumped up on her and I we were both sitting on the chair.. she had her hand on the dental floss and was sort of wiggileing the tooth a bit and Miles Hit her hand down just enough that plunk out came that tooth.. she was shocked and excited at the same time.. she had to run right outside to tell her dad she and miles had done it..and gotten the tooth out and he could now proceed in ordering the doll he promised her, if she got the tooth out.. :) She was so excited..

( by the way Miles is our puppy. not one of the boys for those of you who dont know ) 

and I as I sat there with a big smile on my face I was proud of all of them.. her brothers for encouraging her and supporting her and trying to make her feel better.. her for finally getting that tooth out, and the dog for helping too..  I love them all..  and now onto the next loose tooth she has..

Aw~ Happy holidays! Your kids definitely care for each other! That's how siblings should treat themselves. They seem very close. Congratulations on raising them well. I like all of the photos here, btw. ;)
